Easter Steam 2000

The Millenuium Aurora Tour, organised by the NSW Rail Transport Museum was THE rail heritage event of the year 2000. Former NSWGR Pacific locos 3801 and 3830 (operated by 3801 Limited and Powerhouse Museum respectively) journeyed from Sydney, NSW to Dimboola in western Victoria during Easter. This historic tour saw the first use of steam locos on lines converted from broad to standard gauge during the mid 1990s.
